Emanuele "Manny" A. Conti is Chief Executive Officer of Kroll and a member of Kroll's Board of Directors. Kroll is a leading global provider of investigations, compliance and risk management services, cyber security solutions, ediscovery services, and data and information services.
Conti brings more than 20 years of significant leadership experience at companies across a diverse range of industries around the world. He joins Kroll after serving more than a decade in senior positions with Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), most recently as President, North America, a business with over $1 billion in annual revenue. In his tenure with the firm, Conti held full P&L responsibility for each of D&B's major business units—including roles as Vice President-Small Business Solutions, President-Europe, and President-International. During his tenure, Conti improved operational performance, accelerated growth, and expanded margins in various markets worldwide.
Prior to D&B, Conti led the Corporate Strategy team for Qwest Communications. He also held leadership positions at Viant, an e-commerce consulting firm, and Ernst & Young LLP, where he was a founding member of the firm's strategy practice. Earlier in his career, he held various positions with General Motors.
Conti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at Bowling Green State University and an MBA at the University of Chicago.
Gregory A. Olson
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Data Recovery and Software
Senior Vice President Greg Olson provides executive and strategic leadership for the global Data Recovery and Software business line. In his current role, Olson leads the strategic and tactical evolution of the world-class data recovery services and enterprise software solutions.
Olson joined the company in 1990 and has served in various executive leadership roles across operations, product line management and software development organizations. Olson is a globally recognized expert in the area of data recovery and an experienced executive with extensive operational, financial and technical knowledge with specialized expertise in the areas of data recovery, computer forensics, electronic discovery and software development processes.
Olson graduated cum laude from St. Cloud State University in Minn. with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Senior Vice President, Product Development and Delivery
Jay Dorenkamp is charged with innovating and forwarding Kroll Ontrack Legal Technologies solutions to meet the legal industry's unique market needs. With more than 20 years of high-tech software experience and leadership, his focus is on developing strategic solutions to grow the company's technology portfolio and promote its technology expertise.
Before joining Kroll Ontrack, Dorenkamp served as chief technology officer for Quantum Retail Technology, where he led the product development, quality assurance, technical services, IT operations and customer support teams. Prior to Quantum, he was vice-president, technology and support with Thomson Reuters' Paisley business unit - a software provider in the governance, risk and compliance space. Dorenkamp additionally held the position of vice president of technology development for Lawson Software, where he was responsible for the company's core technology platform and its evolution to J2EE-based standards. Prior to joining Lawson, he spent almost 14 years at IBM in various management and technical positions with responsibilities for software systems development and support on IBM's eServer systems.
Dorenkamp received his Master of Science, management of technology, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass. He holds his Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
Senior Vice President, Consulting, Client Services and Operations
Cathleen Peterson is senior vice president of Kroll Ontrack Consulting, Client Services and Operations. In her role, Peterson is responsible for the strategy, growth and delivery of the client experience, and overseeing the day-today functions of client services and operations, as well as a full range of consulting services, including collection services, ESI consulting and review services.
Prior to joining Kroll Ontrack, Peterson was of counsel and the legal director of discovery analytics and review services for Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where she consulted with clients and case teams on technology and all aspects of ediscovery, led the development of the firm's search analytics team and expanded discovery service offerings leveraging advanced technologies. Included in her many accomplishments, she designed, built and grew one of largest and most successful document review centers on the East Coast, deploying kCura's Relativity platform. Before joining Orrick, Peterson served as Counsel at WilmerHale, with an emphasis on large-scale SEC inquiries, complex litigation and internal investigations.
Peterson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania.
Brett M. Amdur
Senior Vice President for U.S. Sales
As Senior Vice President for U.S. Sales, Brett M. Amdur is responsible defining the sales strategy and leading the business development team in order to grow Kroll Ontrack’s presence in the U.S.
Amdur has spent his career at the intersection of law, technology and sales innovation. Before joining Kroll Ontrack, Amdur was the Vice President of Sales at Daegis, Inc., a provider of ediscovery and archiving solutions. Amdur was also the founder and CEO of two successful technology startups, where he ran sales teams that brought innovative and disruptive solutions to traditional markets. One of these companies, Verilaw Technologies, became the leading provider of electronic document distribution systems for courts and lawyers, and was acquired by LexisNexis. At LexisNexis, Amdur was a Vice President of Market Development, where he ran business development initiatives associated with accelerating the adoption of electronic filing and related technologies. A former lawyer, Amdur spent six years as a law professor at Villanova Law School, where he also worked as the Director of the Center for Information Law and Policy. Amdur worked in private practice at several Philadelphia area law firms, and was a law clerk to two different federal District Court judges.
Amdur holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism from American University, earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and was a Master’s Degree candidate in Computer Science at Villanova University.
Vice President, Finance
Shawn Abbas leads the organization's finance group and is responsible for financial analysis/reporting, budgeting and forecasting across all business lines. A globally experienced financial executive with broad expertise, Abbas brings deep proficiency to Kroll Ontrack in organizational strategic planning and implementation, process improvements, international business, accounting, auditing and financial management, among others.
Previously, Abbas held various management positions at Kroll Ontrack and Larson Allen.
Abbas earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
