First-of-its-kind course assists legal professionals in mastering presentation technology in the courtroom
Minneapolis – May 19, 2009 – Kroll Ontrack®, the industry's largest provider of paper and electronic discovery, computer forensics, electronically stored information (ESI) consulting, jury consulting, and courtroom presentation services, today announced the launch of its new Trial Technology Readiness Training Program. Developed and facilitated by trial technology experts at TrialGraphix®, which was acquired by Kroll Ontrack in 2007, this new course empowers legal professionals with the knowledge to master the operation and management of courtroom presentation technology for trial.
Specifically, the course provides participants with comprehensive training required to leverage the core applications used in courtroom presentations. It also equips legal professionals with important organizational strategies and quality control procedures to ensure trial teams are fully prepared for trial.
"Courtroom technology training is vital for trial teams lacking the budgetary resources to utilize outside expert consultants to manage their presentations. As presentation technology has become increasingly utilized in legal settings, it is essential for litigators to have a firm understanding of the ins-and-outs of courtroom technology. In many cases, it can be the critical factor for gaining a favorable outcome," said Peter Fain, vice president of trial technologies for Kroll Ontrack. "Kroll Ontrack's new training program teaches participants the courtroom-tested skills needed to successfully support technology presentations, further increasing preparedness for trial."
Kroll Ontrack's Trial Technology Readiness Training is offered in multiple program formats to fit the needs of busy litigation professionals. Training options include a one-day basic, two-day advanced and customized curriculums located onsite at the trainee's firm or at off-site locations. Sessions are tailored to the organization's current level of presentation platform mastery and include instruction on Exhibitor®, TrialDirector® or Sanction® from consultants experienced in these technologies and their capabilities.
