Filtering – The filtering process is critical to narrowing down your universe of potentially relevant and responsive documents so that discovery requests can be met readily, efficiently and cost-effectively. Detailed metrics and reports, offered through Kroll Ontrack’s Early Processing Metrics service, allow you to alter your keyword lists, date ranges, custodians, and duplication selections before data is processed through the e-discovery engine and posted in Ontrack Inview. Once you are comfortable with your parameters, we will filter your data accordingly, using the most advanced filtering tools in the industry. |

Scanning, OCR and Coding – Kroll Ontrack utilizes high-speed scanners to convert paper documents to digital images and guarantees more than 99.5% accuracy in its scanning services. Scanning can take place at one of our regional service centers, located coast-to-coast for your convenience. During the optical character recognition (OCR) process, we capture electronic text from paper-based documents to create fully editable and searchable text. To ensure you receive the highest productivity and 97% or higher accuracy ratings for coding, Kroll Ontrack’s coders work from coding manuals to index background information about each document in the production. We can provide either domestic or off-shore coding options, designed to fit your schedule, budget, and case needs. |

Production – The new Federal Rules of Civil Procedure require parties to discuss production format at the pre-trial conferences. Kroll Ontrack understands that formats will vary by case and possibly even by file type. We offer flexibility when it comes to production format and will work with you to meet your requirements and agreements. Some of the options include production in an Ontrack Inview database, load files for a litigation support database, native files burned to CD-ROM, print, or a combination of the above. |
