Meet Our Senior Management Team

Led by a senior management team who each average nearly 10 years of service to the company, Kroll Ontrack is dedicated to developing leading services and technologies that solve the problems and mitigate risk associated with recovering, searching, analyzing, producing and presenting data.

 

Kristin M. Nimsger, Esq.Kristin M. Nimsger, Esq.
President

Kristin Nimsger, president, leads the company's more than 1,500 employees who work to produce more than $250 million in revenue through the sale of Legal Technologies, Data Recovery and Advanced Search services and software worldwide. In her role, Nimsger is responsible for advancing the strategic vision of Kroll Ontrack and growing the company's business lines through investments in organic growth and geographic expansion. Furthermore, she works with the broader Kroll organization to continue to enhance the cooperation and collaboration between the Kroll family of businesses.

Among one of the nation's most knowledgeable legal technology experts, Nimsger previously served as the vice president of Legal Technologies for Kroll Ontrack. With the company since 2001, Nimsger is credited with overseeing the evolution of products and service offerings for the Legal Technologies business group.

Nimsger earned her J.D. cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minn., and received her B.A. in English/Communications from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.

 

Gregory A. OlsonGregory A. Olson
Chief Operating Officer

Greg Olson joined the company in 1990 and currently serves as chief operating officer. Prior to this role, Olson served as vice president, product line management and operations and held numerous leadership roles throughout the product line management, operations and software development organizations. In his current role, Olson is responsible for operations worldwide for both the Legal Technologies and Data Recovery product lines, product strategy for data recovery and software, and he oversees the R&D technology development function for all of Kroll Ontrack's product lines.

Olson is a globally recognized expert in the area of data recovery and an experienced executive with extensive operational, financial and technical knowledge with specialized expertise in the areas of data recovery, computer forensics, electronic discovery and software development processes. Under his direction, the Data Recovery and Legal Technologies operations process multiple peta-bytes of data each year, on more than 60,000 customer projects, all with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

Olson graduated cum laude from St. Cloud State University in Minn. with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

 

Thomas P. SkibaThomas P. Skiba
Chief Financial Officer

Tom Skiba joined Kroll Ontrack in 1996 and currently serves as the chief financial officer. Skiba is responsible for all of Kroll Ontrack's finances and facility management.

Prior to his work with Kroll Ontrack, Skiba served as chief financial officer of IVI Publishing, Inc., a publicly held electronic publisher of health and medical information, from 1992 to 1996. Prior to joining IVI Publishing, he was an audit senior manager with Ernst and Young.

Skiba earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Ind., in 1977.

 

Tony CuevaTony Cueva
Sr. Vice President, Legal Technologies Business Development

As senior vice president, Tony Cueva is responsible for overseeing all the business development functions and revenue for Kroll Ontrack's Legal Technologies and enterprise software sales throughout the United States. He also oversees the business development functions and revenue for Legal Technologies services in the United Kingdom. He joined the company in December of 1997 and has been a member of the senior management team since 2000.

Prior to his employment with Kroll Ontrack, Cueva worked in sales and sales management positions for more than 11 years. He also completed the University of Chicago's Sales Force Productivity Strategies program and served five years as a United State naval officer.

Cueva earned a bachelor's degree in special education from Long Island University - C.W. Post Campus. He also attended the United States Naval Officer Candidate School and Surface Warfare School.

 

Todd JohnsonTodd Johnson
Vice President, Data Recovery Operations

In his role as vice president, Todd Johnson is responsible for all revenue generating and customer support activities for the Data Recovery services and software business line.

Prior to his current position, Johnson served as general manager for Kroll Ontrack Europe, LTD., where he oversaw revenue growth of 26 percent and increased operating profit of 84 percent between 2001 and 2003. In his nearly 20 years with the company, Johnson held a variety of positions including manager of sales operations, customer implementation manager, inbound sales manager and customer service manager.

Mr. Johnson received his B.S. in business administration from Metropolitan State University.

 

Jim ReinertJim Reinert
Vice President, Data Recovery & Software Products

Jim Reinert, vice president of data recovery and software products, drives the technology and business development for all data recovery services and software business lines to meet the ever-changing needs of corporations, law firms, government agencies and individuals. Relying on his technical and business expertise, Reinert works with global customer segments to develop product and service architectures, business plans and service definitions through market analysis, competitive analysis, pricing models, capital investments and financial analysis. He has over 20 years of experience in a variety of roles at Kroll Ontrack, including software engineer, engineering manager, director of technology, and sr. director of software and services.

Reinert holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn.

 

Erica HolbornErica Holborn
Vice President & Operating Director, Trial Services

Erica Holborn, vice president and operating director of trial services, is responsible for the financial and operational directives for the trial services business line on an international scale. She collaborates with facility and department leaders to assess current market trends, formulate strategic plans for business development and introduce new product and service initiatives to ensure company-wide growth.

With almost 15 years of service and experience for Kroll Ontrack/TrialGraphix, Holborn has been an integral leader in a variety of capacities within the company, specifically in the areas of sales, consulting and production. Prior to Kroll Ontrack's acquisition of TrialGraphix in 2007, Holborn held the position of president and chief operating officer, which she assumed in 2001.

Holborn received her B.A. in psychology from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Ga.

 

Chuck CrymbleChuck Crymble
Vice President, Technology

Chuck Crymble, vice president of technology, is responsible for product development and software quality assurance for all of the company's products and services, both domestically and internationally. Under Crymble's leadership, there has been a 300 percent increase in the number of product deliveries, while maintaining the same high quality products and services.

Crymble joined the company in June of 1992 as a software engineer. Prior to his current role as vice president of technology, he served as development engineering manager and then as development engineering director.

Crymble graduated magna cum laude from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

 

Nancy A. RobertsonNancy A. Robertson
Sr. Director, Legal Technologies Product Line Management

Nancy Robertson is responsible for evolution and direction of product offerings of the Legal Technologies business group within Kroll Ontrack. In Robertson's previous role at Kroll Ontrack, she developed the current service delivery team consisting of highly qualified Legal Technologies project managers, enabling the smooth delivery of complex electronic discovery projects on an accurate, timely and consistent basis.

Robertson has almost 20 years of project management experience and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Previous work experience includes a balance of consulting and industry experience managing projects and directing teams for Control Data Corporation, Deloitte & Touche, NordicTrack, Jostens and Norstan Consulting.

Robertson is a graduate of the College of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. (B.A. Finance) and the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. (M.B.A.).

 

Michele C.S. Lange, Esq.Michele C.S. Lange, Esq.
Director, Legal Technologies Product Line Management

Michele Lange is responsible for the evolution of the company's legal technology product and service offerings and conducts legal and market research and analysis. From e-document preservation to litigation tactics, she also helps clients integrate electronic discovery into their case strategy.

On the topics of electronic discovery, computer forensics and technology's role in the law, Lange is among the nation's most knowledgeable experts. Most notably, she authored, along with her colleague, Kristin Nimsger, the American Bar Association book, titled "Electronic Evidence and Discovery: What Every Lawyer Should Know." Further, Lange is frequently called upon by journalists to comment on cutting-edge law and technology developments, and she also routinely shares her expertise and knowledge as a guest speaker for legal associations, CLE programs and law school courses.

Lange graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with highest honors and the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude.

 

Paul D. Fabel, Esq.Paul D. Fabel, Esq.
General Manager, Operations

Paul Fabel is the operations general manager for the Legal Technologies business unit at Kroll Ontrack. Since joining the company in 1996, he has held various positions including general counsel for ONTRACK Data International.

In his role as general manager, Fabel oversees operations for all of the Legal Technologies business groups including electronic discovery, computer forensics, paper discovery and client services. Prior to joining Kroll Ontrack, he held various technology positions, including business and technology consulting, for ten years at UNISYS Corporation.

Fabel earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a master's degree and a J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota.

 

Kent R. Anderson, Esq.Kent R. Anderson, Esq.
Division Counsel

Kent Anderson serves as division counsel for Kroll Ontrack. In his role, Anderson has global responsibility for managing the full scope of legal services provided to the company, including, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property protection, and the negotiation of major technology agreements. He is also responsible for providing legal advice to the Kroll Ontrack senior management team and directing the activities of the Kroll Ontrack legal department.

Prior to joining Kroll Ontrack in 1998, Anderson worked in the fields of marketing and wireless telecommunications for 6 years at AT&T Wireless.

Anderson earned a J.D., cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law and a bachelor's degree in sociology and criminal justice from Hamline University.
