KROLL ONTRACK NAMED LEADING ELECTRONIC DISCOVERY PROVIDER BY TOP AMERICAN LAW FIRMS FOR SEVENTH YEAR IN A ROW
Am Law 200 Rank Company as Their Preferred Electronic Discovery Services Provider in Annual Technology Survey
Minneapolis – Oct. 27, 2008 – Kroll Ontrack®, the
industry's leading provider of paper and electronic discovery,
computer forensics and ESI consulting, jury consulting, and
courtroom presentation services, today announced that it was
recognized as the most used electronic discovery provider in Law
Firm Inc.'s thirteenth annual Am Law Tech Survey. This survey,
appearing in the October issue of Law Firm Inc., marks
the seventh consecutive year that Kroll Ontrack has been awarded
this honor.
"It is more important than ever for corporations and law firms
to partner with an experienced electronic discovery provider to
help manage the ever growing amount and complexity of
electronically stored information (ESI) efficiently and
effectively," said Michele Lange, director of Legal Technologies
for Kroll Ontrack. "We are honored to again be recognized as the
top provider of quality e-discovery technology and consulting
services by clients who continue to trust their pre-litigation,
internal investigations, discovery and trial needs to Kroll
Ontrack."
Kroll Ontrack has won this award every year since the poll
first began surveying law firms in 2002 regarding their preferred
electronic discovery vendor. Of the 109 firms surveyed in the e-
discovery category this year, 68 firms or 62 percent of the
respondents identified Kroll Ontrack as their electronic discovery
provider of choice.
The thirteenth annual Am Law Tech Survey was conducted from May to late July. Polling CIOs and IT directors from the largest 200 law firms in America since 1995, the Am Law Tech Survey aims to reveal information about hardware, software, budgets, new
developments and the latest legal trends. Responses were received
from at least 109 firms.
