Ontrack SystemSuite™ 2000 captures PC World's 2000 World Class Award for best utilityONTRACK Data International, Inc., (NASDAQ: ONDI), a leading provider of data availability software and service solutions, today announced that PC World has honored Ontrack SystemSuite™ 2000 with its 2000 World Class Award for best utility. The World Class Award winners were announced in the July 2000 issue of PC World and will be presented with trophies at an award ceremony to be held during PC Expo in New York.
Introduced in November 1999, Ontrack SystemSuite 2000 is a complete suite of fully integrated utility products designed to keep PC users' systems operating at peak performance. Furthermore, it is the only comprehensive, easy-to-use utility suite available today that supports Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000 operating systems. With Ontrack SystemSuite 2000, all applications are fully integrated and run from a single, easy-to-use interface – making Ontrack SystemSuite 2000 intuitive and less confusing for users. In addition to the World Class Award, the utility also won PC Magazine's coveted Editors' Choice Award in April.
“Since the acquisition of the Mijenix Corporation last summer, our employees have dedicated themselves to developing and delivering a fully integrated utility suite that is the best in its class at helping customers maintain the health of their PCs,” said Mike Rogers, Ontrack CEO. “It's an honor to be recognized by leaders in the industry for our hard work and innovation.”
Celebrating its 18th year, the respected World Class Awards honor the top hardware, software and Web products in the computer industry. To select the best of the best, PC World's editors, testers and contributors examined the entire gamut of products that have appeared in the magazine during the past year. Hundreds of products in more than 70 categories were judged on performance, value, consistency and innovation. The magazine also polled its readers to name the top companies for PC and software service and support.
“The World Class Award winners represent an all-star line-up of the year's best products,” said Kevin McKean, editorial director of PC World. “Throughout the year, the editors scout outstanding players in the hardware and software for our readers. These awards honor the finest the industry has to offer—from solid veterans to stand-out rookies.”
Ontrack SystemSuite 2000 is currently available in retail stores for $59.95 or at the Ontrack Web site at www.ontrack.com.
