Attenza adds Ontrack Systemsuite™ to asp-based Esupport offering

Industry-leading suite of PC performance tools to augment Attenza's Webskin™ "virtual help desk" services

MINNEAPOLIS, January 29, 2001 - ONTRACK Data International, Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDI), a leader in data availability software and service solutions, today announced that eSupport solutions provider Attenza (formerly Service911) will private label and resell Ontrack SystemSuite™ for ASP to its Webskin™ ASP subscribers. Ontrack SystemSuite allows Attenza to add Ontrack's PC maintenance tools to its full range of existing integrated eSupport offerings, which include: text and video how-to tutorials, live services such as chat and email, along with other proprietary tools and analytics. Terms were not disclosed.

"Partnering with Ontrack allows us to continue to offer our Fortune 1000 clients an integrated award-winning eSupport solution," said Lawrence Schwartz, CEO of Attenza. "We selected Ontrack's versatile, easy-to-use PC utility software SystemSuite because it was a perfect complement to our best-of-class tools offering."

Attenza's Webskin incorporates patent-pending technology for delivering support products and services via the Internet from a hosted environment. It allows Attenza's clients to embed a wide range of eSupport services - including tutorials, videos and even live support - transparently into any online environment. Through a private-labeled version of Ontrack SystemSuite for ASP, Attenza can now offer PC utility software embedded in its Webskin technology.

Developed for PC OEMs, eSupport providers, IT outsourcing companies and Internet service providers (ISPs), Ontrack SystemSuite for ASP is designed to provide client users with an easy and effective way to protect and maintain computers and stored information, while also providing emergency help to recover data from crashed machines. The ASP capabilities will ease the IT professional's work responsibilities, while reducing the number of help desk calls and troubleshooting support.

"Ontrack SystemSuite for ASP was developed specifically for companies like Attenza who are in the business of providing access to industry-leading technology and services in a variety of delivery models," said Mike Rogers, CEO of Ontrack. "Partnering with Attenza will give their customers the immediate PC maintenance support they need to remain flexible and keep their costs down."
