Kroll Ontrack wins contract from US Navy

Data recovery work to be performed for naval air warfare center aircraft division

MINNEAPOLIS – Oct. 25, 2005 – Kroll Ontrack Inc. announced today that its Ontrack Data Recovery division has been awarded a contract to provide data recovery services for the Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, in Patuxent River, Md. Recovery services for the one year contract will be processed in Ontrack’s recently expanded Reston, Va. facility, which meets the US Navy’s unique security requirements.

Of its seven clean room labs worldwide, Ontrack Data Recovery has two facilities (Eden Prairie, Minn. and Reston) that have performed substantial work for the US Navy and other branches of the military over the past 12 years. In addition, Kroll Ontrack is a two-time winner of the prestigious James S. Cogswell Award from the US Department of Defense for outstanding participation in the National Industrial Security Program, of which less than 0.5% of eligible Department of Defense contractors receive.
